Procedure Description:
What To Expect:
This surgery is done as an outpatient either under a general
anesthetic or a local with sedation. There are many ways to perform
this operation and your surgeon will discuss with you the best
approach for your body (for example, implant placement above or
below the muscle).
Preprocedure:
Will be discussed at length during your consultation. Before and
after photos can be shown at your consultation. Our doctors will
typically spend 45 minutes discussing this procedure. Consultations
are FREE OF CHARGE.
Postprocedure:
In general, you will have mild to moderate pain after the operation
that will be well controlled with pain medicine. You will also be
given antibiotics for a few days. The swelling and soreness usually
subsides over 5-7 days.
