Revision Rhinoplasty (Nasal Surgery)Most rhinoplasty surgery results in a successful outcome and a satisfied patient. Occasionally, however, the result is not quite what the patient desired, and a corrective or revision rhinoplasty is needed. At times this procedure can be a minor correction, but occasionally a more involved correction may be necessary. People seeking a rhinoplasty do so for several reasons. Being centrally located, the nose should blend harmoniously with the other facial features and not draw attention to itself. You may feel that it is too large or too small for their face, crooked, misshapen or, perhaps, fine except for just one minimal “problem” (bump, depression, angulation, ,etc.). Furthermore, with aging and gravity, the cartilages in the tip start drooping and produce an apparent lengthening of the nose with a slight hump. Finally, some people have breathing difficulties, headaches or sinus problems due to deformities within the nose. Many times these internal deformities will express themselves externally as well, as with a very deviated septum. For more information about Revision Rhinoplasty Click Here.
